Da motoren var f\u00e6rdig, m\u00e5tte den store 1200 ton kran p\u00e5 Lind\u00f8 tages i brug for at l\u00f8fte den 830 ton tunge motor op. Motoren skulle endda roteres i luften, s\u00e5 den blev placeret korrekt ved neds\u00e6tning. Den operation i sig selv var en ingeni\u00f8rteknisk udfordring, hvor der blev specialfremstillet l\u00f8ftegrej til opgaven.\r\n\r\n\"Vi har produceret verdens st\u00f8rste motor m\u00e5lt p\u00e5 vores 25 MW kombineret med lav hastighed og h\u00f8jt moment p\u00e5 32 MNm. Samtidig er vores motor ikke statisk monteret, men er monteret p\u00e5 hydraulik, s\u00e5 den f\u00f8lger bev\u00e6gelserne fra HALT XL-testb\u00e6nken. Ud over at bygge den mindre testmodel til verificering af k\u00f8lingen har vi anvendt fire forskellige simuleringsv\u00e6rkt\u00f8jer for at krydstjekke de elektromagnetiske og -mekaniske v\u00e6rdier for motoren,\" siger Claus Poulsen.\r\n\r\nFor at huse HALT XL-testb\u00e6nken, skal der to bygninger til. En til selve testb\u00e6nken og en bygning til de elektriske systemer, k\u00f8le- og hydraulikanl\u00e6ggene.\r\n\r\n\"N\u00e5r den k\u00f8rer fuldt skrald, s\u00e5 skal den bruge ca. 28.000 ampere, hvilket forsynes fra syv individuelle konvertere.
